Sky Blue Stripes and The most beautiful shade of soft gold
They can all be found at the

Dahlia Flower

Hello Hello!
How is everyone today?

I have spent the morning making sure my fingers have more red ink on them than my card!
At least that's what it seems.
I had to run to the bank and the teller had quite the look when she seen the red stained finger tips..
Note to self Buy more Alcohol wipes!!!

So todays card I chose the Dahlia Flower
This is one I have drawn to sit off the page and I love it! It kind of gives a bit of a different look to your clean and simple cards.

Copic colors used are:
 R56, R35, R27, YR04, Y17.

I found some cute little flat backed tear shaped embellishments on a site called Wish.
and the stamp sentiment comes from a company called Wplus9.

Paper is from DCWV and is called Wildflower.

I hope this inspires you to be creative and ink up your fingers for the day!
Have an amazing time and thank you for dropping in!

Another African Daisy

When your daughters at a birthday party and you have the house to yourself what do you do?
Why color! ALL DAY!

This is my second card today using this image!
I simply love the twists and turns of the African Daisy!

I thought this one could use a little bit more of a rugged look to it,
So I dug out some awesome paper by Prima
This set is called Epiphany

The sentiment is included with the African Daisy.

For copic colors I used:
RV19, RV11, VO4, VO5, V09, V15, V17, BV25, B95, BV29

I did a bit of machine sewing around one of my layers and popped a few brads around the next.

I really hope you like it!
Thank you so much for dropping in!!
Have an amazing day!

Black eyed susan

Today I needed a nice relaxing stress reliever. Well trying to anyway!
Seeing so much ugliness in the world makes me so sad and I needed something beautiful.
So I pulled out the watercolors which I have very little practice with.
Just a little something different to keep the creative juices flowing!

For this card I have used the image
Prima Watercolors in Shimmering lights
and

I found that the two sets really played well together.
But the shimmer in the Prima set is amazing!!! I wish I could photograph it better!

The paper comes from a Paper Studios matt stack called Our Family Tree
Then I have finished off with a bit of machine sewing.

Heart Burst

The sun is peaking its head out this morning in South Eastern Idaho and its so refreshing!
Almost makes me want to wash my windows... (Almost!)

Today I would like to share with you my newest image called

It's a clean and simple corner image the depicts a heart bursting with Love

Exotic Peacock

The colors for this peacock were inspired from several that I was checking out on Pinterest.
I never would have thought to add in pinks to the color scheme of things!

I have been looking at different card layouts recently trying to expand  my horizons a little bit from my normal clean and simple... I'm not sure this is quite the success I was hoping for but I'm not giving up!

This Peacock is one of the images from my etsy shop
found here:  Peacock

The love letters are some fun bling that I found at Hobby Lobby by Momenta and just couldn't resist!
I do love things that sparkle!!

Copic colors are really simple for this one:

B39, B26, BG09, BG05, BG01, RV17, RV14, BV08, YG07

I just went in and added flicking being careful not to over blend so some of the lines stood out.

I then blinged up the end of each feather and around the card with Black Nuvo drops from Tonic.

Other than that clean and simple!
Thank you so much for dropping in!
Have a Fab Day!

Another Valentines!

Image used:

This morning as I was photographing this card I couldn't help but think how cool would this card be in black and white except for the heart! I am so doing that next!
I wasn't to thrilled with how this one came out. The color of the flower just doesn't pop against the rest. What do you think?

The red I found a bit more challenging than the last one I made. It was a lot harder to get all my reds to blend. I actually went over it so many times that the marker bled completely through my Xpress it paper and stained my white desk lol! Well now it truly looks like a crafty desk!
I really want to get one of those crafty pads I see so many people using that protects the desk and clean up is a blast! Any recommendations?

Ok Ill quit jabbering already and get to the point!
Copic colors!

For the heart: R59, R46, R39, R37, R29, R27, R17
Green: R67, YG17, YG13
Flower: E17, R22, R20, R01, Y15, Y02

I have machine sewn around the outside using a basic zigzag stitch and layered through out with basic card stock.

The sentiment is from Hero Arts Love set.

I hope I didn't bore you to tears with my longer than usual post, I haven't figured out a happy medium yet for blogging! But I will!

Have a wonderful day!!!
