Dahlia Flower

Hello Hello!
How is everyone today?

I have spent the morning making sure my fingers have more red ink on them than my card!
At least that's what it seems.
I had to run to the bank and the teller had quite the look when she seen the red stained finger tips..
Note to self Buy more Alcohol wipes!!!

So todays card I chose the Dahlia Flower
This is one I have drawn to sit off the page and I love it! It kind of gives a bit of a different look to your clean and simple cards.

Copic colors used are:
 R56, R35, R27, YR04, Y17.

I found some cute little flat backed tear shaped embellishments on a site called Wish.
and the stamp sentiment comes from a company called Wplus9.

Paper is from DCWV and is called Wildflower.

I hope this inspires you to be creative and ink up your fingers for the day!
Have an amazing time and thank you for dropping in!

Feeling blue?

Feeling Blue? How about teal?
Sometimes that's a good thing!
I felt like coloring these flowers up in tones of blue and I love how they came out!

What do you think?

This is another image I managed to color up while sitting out in the middle of a snow storm waiting on my driver to come down out of the mines.

For those that don't know I run my own business as a Pilot car driver.
It is the most amazing job!
I see so much beautiful scenery. I just love packing my camera along on extra long trips and taking my time on my way home to just enjoy the beauty of every day.

But enough about me! You want to know what colors I used!

So here we go...

Blue: B39, B29, B24, B23
Teal: B39, BG09, BGO5, YG13
Greens: YG67, YG17, YG13
Yellows: YR23, YR24, E37, E29.

The sentiment is included in the purchase and
Elegant Daisy's can be found in the link!

I hope you are all having an wonderful day!
Thank you so much for stopping in!

When your daughters at a birthday party and you have the house to yourself what do you do?
Why color! ALL DAY!

This is my second card today using this image!
I simply love the twists and turns of the African Daisy!

So I dug out some awesome paper by Prima
This set is called Epiphany

The sentiment is included with the African Daisy.

For copic colors I used:
RV19, RV11, VO4, VO5, V09, V15, V17, BV25, B95, BV29

I did a bit of machine sewing around one of my layers and popped a few brads around the next.

I really hope you like it!
Thank you so much for dropping in!!
Have an amazing day!

Black eyed susan

Today I needed a nice relaxing stress reliever. Well trying to anyway!
Seeing so much ugliness in the world makes me so sad and I needed something beautiful.
So I pulled out the watercolors which I have very little practice with.
Just a little something different to keep the creative juices flowing!

For this card I have used the image
Prima Watercolors in Shimmering lights
and

I found that the two sets really played well together.
But the shimmer in the Prima set is amazing!!! I wish I could photograph it better!

The paper comes from a Paper Studios matt stack called Our Family Tree
Then I have finished off with a bit of machine sewing.

The sun is peaking its head out this morning in South Eastern Idaho and its so refreshing!
Almost makes me want to wash my windows... (Almost!)

Today I would like to share with you my newest image called

It's a clean and simple corner image the depicts a heart bursting with Love

Yellow: Y17, Y15, Y11
Blue B39, BG09, BG07, BG05, BG02, BG01, BG0000
