Party Sheep!

Here is my inspirational card for

This was perfect for the New Year!
It's called Party Sheep!
I've put a little bit of a tutorial together for the fluffy sheep :)

I first started out with my W3 and dotted around in circle patterns...

Then went down a shade to W2 and began filling the circles in:

adding darker areas as I went. I also darkened some areas with the W3

Then, you guessed it I dropped to W1

I ended up sneaking some W5 in area's that just didn't pop enough then got frustrated and whipped out the W6 Perfect!!

Ive used all the same shades for the face, arms and feet as well but I started out with a W9 and worked my way down.

Hope this wasn't to confusing? I need to pop in and see how Alyce does this on Kit and Clowder...
10 to 1 I'll have a whole new sheep!

Thank you so much for popping by!
Please stop by the Inky Challenge Blog to view all the other amazing creations!

And HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!

Owl in a tree

Alyce has a wonderful tutorial on how to color animals on Kit and Clowder.  I used the tutorial to color up this owl that I drew up yesterday!
I Love how he turned out. Makes me want to draw up some more owls. Looks like I'm in for a bit of owl study!

Lots of trial and error. Then to the computer to pretty much erase all of the detail and turn it into a digital image. :)
If you would like to give him a go you can find him here:
For some reason the link isn't working right so here is a copy paste for you :)
Thank you so much for popping by! I hope you have a wonderful day!

Inky Impressions!

I uses the adorable image
Merry-Kissmas Penguins

They are so adorable.
I chose just a simple put together to make the image the main attention grabber for the card.

Of course I managed to pack up my markers with out writing them down for you... Not thinking to clearly I guess. I can tell you the black of the penguin is using w copics and the tux is n copics...

It's Challenge time for team A over at Inky Impressions!!!!

This time around it's Sports!
And sledding is a sport right? If I have to wok a sweat up pulling a sled full of kids up a hill by dang it's a sport... of Survival.....

I've used this adorable image from Inky Impressions

The image is called Merisas's Sleigh Ride

The background is sponged in using some violet Stampin' up ink and some cheep dollar store sponges. A little bit of masking to the background really gives a bit of definition.

She is colored in using Copic markers.... but in my rush to clean up I didn't get a pic of the markers used, I'm sooo sorry!

Last but not least the sentiment is also from Inky impressions it can be found Here.

As always be sure to check out the Challenge Blog!

Can I just say Love Love, Love this image from
Its called Wedding Couple

Would someone hurry up and get Married so I can send this to them??
Lol

I chose to go clean and simple as most of my cards tend to veer towards.
Using some Corrugated paper from a cool DCWV stack I found. It gave a country feel to a traditional wedding... after putting it together I kinda felt like I should have used Country Wedding

But I just never know how a card will turn out till it's finished. I go at coloring a image with absolutely no thought in mind to the finished product.. So everything tends to take on a mind of it's own .

I've embellished with fun flowers, Hemp string that I received as a freebie from Unity stamps and some pearls... every wedding has pearls right?

Around the border of the image is This cool stuff called called Fran'tage from Stampendous.
You sprinkle it on and heat from underneath the image till melted. This color is called Shabby White.

Also around the outer edge rather than sewing which I regret not doing now, I added a fine bead of Stickles in Crystal.

Copic colors used for this card are as follows:
Skin: E000, E00, E04, E11, R20
Boys Hair: E18, E15, YR23
Girls Hair: E79, E25, E23
Tux: W9, W7; W5, W3. Vest: V99, V95, V93, V91
Gown: C7, C5, C3, C1. Veil: C1, BG000
Roses: R85, R83, G29, G09.

Thank you all so much for stopping in!! Be sure to check out the

I took the plunge and went ahead and opened my Etsy shop again.
I've reworked some of my images and am making up cards for them as I go.
No rush just something fun to play with :)
Here are the cards I've done so far...

I was hunting for some birds to do when I started Kit and Clowders animal class and realized I had a few of my own so why not color them up!

Heck I've made so many cards recently that I might have to start selling a few of them as well!

It will be an interesting undertaking. I am awaiting the arrival of a new Wacom Intuos pad so I can start adding some new images as well. Any Ideas are welcome and if they are used you will receive the image for free!!

Hugs to all!
Hope to see you again soon!

Thank You!!

How about a fun card to get you in the creative mood?

This Beautiful age is also from Inky Impressions
She is called Angelica's Sled
and you can fine her Here

Colored in my favorite medium Copics!

These are the ones used :)

The sentiment also comes from Inky Impressions
You can find it HERE
It's so cute shaped like a ticket. I opted to make it look like a sign. Which was easy just cut a stick and background and color :) And a bit more stickles at the base to make it lool like its sticking out of the snow.

And a piece of hemp to add some dimension to the rope of the sled.

Most of the image has been popped up using dimensional tape.

Is It Christmas yet? Because I can't wait to send these cards out! Heck I'm not sure I have ever gotten this many Christmas cards done this early in the season...

Please be sure to check out the other DT's cards! The are all such amazing artist!!
And as always check out the Challenge Blog it looks like some amazing prizes are available!

Christmas Carolers

This Image is Christmas Carolers
From the Paper Nest Dolls!

It's beautiful!!!!!

I chose to really go in and add detail to this by layering up several parts..

And of course I went the hard way and layered everything before I colored. Uggg. Late night crafting usually means my brain is even further gone than it usually is :)

But the end result came out well I think :)

Considering the mess I made to make this card....

This is what I walked into this morning... It was worse than I thought it was when I went to bed at 1am lol.

kind of looks like an explosion went off! It seem everything I do I make a huge mess lol.
But I'm all back in order and this is the end result:

I love how it turned out and hope you do as well!

Thank you so much for stopping by! And please be sure to check out the the

Inky Impressions Challenge!

Hello Hello!
This is my first time participating with Inky Impressions as a Design team Member for challenge team A! Whoop Whoop!! Hopefully I get this done right and painlessly because I have asked so many questions I'm sure they are wishing they had never met me!! Lol

Any how, this weeks challenge was Animals. Can I just say there are some darn cute ones to pick from at the Inky Impressions Store!?! I chose Snow Kitten for mine. She is soooooo stinking cute!!!

It's so funny that as I went to go back and get the link for her for this post, I've used almost the same color's as they do in the shop! I'm not sure if that is sad on my part or what but... oh well I guess! Great minds?

Color's used are here:

Fur: E50, YR23, W3, W5, W7, YR23.
Mouth: E70, R11, E04, Ears: R11, E70, E04. Eyes: G05, G29.
Sweater: V28, V25, V22, V20.  Skirt and accessories: RV99, RV69, RV66, RV63 and RV00.
Flowers on scarf Y35, G03.

For the background, I cut out a center snow border and dug out a cloud cut from the Silhouette.
(TIP: I like to keep extra's in a bag so I don't have to cut new ones every time I need one)

It was as simple as using some cheep dollar store sponges cut to small pieces and sponging out the background using inks from Stampin' up. Colors included: Soft Sky and Pacific Point for the sky and Lavender Lace and Bordering Blue for the snow area.

I then cut my background to size, lightly taped it to a piece of printer paper and ran it through the printer and printed the image out onto my back ground.....

of course I couldn't get it right the first time and ended up having to make my background smaller due to over print. :P

I then printed a second image out at the same size on copic paper and fussy cut her out.

Added some pop up tape and popped her on to the back ground. Easy Peesy! Then to colored her up!

I added some Tim Holtz embossing paste for some fluff, then made it pretty with Stickles. Cause everything is better with glitter right??
The white snow dot's are filled in with Molotow pen then stickled as well....

I can't wait to try this beautiful Snow Kitten again after I've done the Kit and Clowder animal class!!

I hope you have enjoyed this Post! Hopefully not over kill :)
Don't forget to check out the other Inky Impressions Challenge members posts as well!!!
