Columbines

I have officially been corrected! It's a columbine not snapdragon! I have been calling them snap dragons forever!! Well I learn something new everyday :)
I have these beautiful flowers popping up everywhere around my yard and I just love them! I started with one when we moved in 11 years ago and I think the squirells that I feed have helped spread the love lol.

This one is colored up in shades of red. I broke when I seen one at the store and had to have it because my wild one are all purple. Hopefully I will now have red ones popping up everywhere.

The colors used to color this are

Petals:R89, R85, R83, R81, R30, Y38.
Leaves:  YG95, YG93, YG91. Grass stems, G29, G46, YG67.

I can't wait to color this up again in purples and blues!
I have added this image to my shop if you are interested. The link is to the right of the screen.
I hope you are all having a wonderful day! Thank you so much for stopping by!

Raccoon!

Work has been picking up which means so is my fatigue. I can not believe just how tired I have been!
I keep walking by my craftroom and wanting to color but a nap seems so much more needed!
I had a no go yesterday, which essentially means I'm called for a job and am to stand by all day till they get where they need me then I go and meet them. Well I waited all day yesterday and they called at the last minute and said never mind. grrrrrrr. But on the bright side I had some time to catch up on game of thrones and draw out another digi!

Drawing this little guy and coloring him proved to be two entirely different challenges!
I tried with color pencil first and it was a sad attempt at best!
This one is done up in copics a little better but not by much.

Colors used are:
 Raccoon is: E34, E44, W2, W3, W4, W5, W6, W7.
Rock and Grass: C2, C3,C4, G46, G29,
Flower: Y35

I've added him to my shop. the link is on the right. I hope you all have a wonderful day!!!

Everything is so quiet!

My house is cleaned and back in order, My little one is off at school and Hubby is at work.
I really haven't had any mojo to color but really couldn't find any excuses not to :)

My first card yesterday is a Thank you card I'm sending to my in laws for coming all the way out here to manage house, family and pets to make it possible for me to go to mexico.

I got my order of Altenew stamps in the mail yesterday as well so it worked out well :)
Ive stamped them in a very light purple then colored them in using inktense pencils and blending them out with water. I topped it with gelly role glitter though its really hard to tell in this pic :( The Thank you is from Stampin up and is embossed in gold.

This one was a just because I had more time to kill. As you have probably seen before it is one of my images and can be found in my etsy shop. (Link on the right)
Its colored in copics.
R89, R56, RV42 and a kick of YR15 just for kicks :)

I hope you all are having a wonderful day!!!

Back from Mexico!

What a Beautiful trip!
I squeezed as much as I could in the two and a half days I was there in Cabo!

To start I went down to meet my Husband and Brother and their friends at the finish of the Mexican 1000 off road race. Unfortunately they blew two engines and were not able to finish but it was a blast for them to give it a shot!

We met at Jose Del Cabo and for the next two and a half days it was a crazy fun adventure for me!
Here are just a few pic's!
I was shocked to see tequila served at Breakfast...

The seal was happy to be fed with tourists all around right from the dock in Cabo San Lucas.

A beautiful pelican now framed and on my wall :)

The arches for which Cabo is famous for :)

My Brother and his Fiance.

My husband Tim

The view from our porch at the Posada Real

The beach five minutes from our room.

More of the courtyard where we stayed.

I hope you enjoyed the pics! It was a blast! You can find more if you are interested on my facebook page :)

Lazy Susans

I remember working out in the yard helping my Grandma clear the weeds in her flower beds. She used to have the most Beautiful bush of these flowers. When ever I see them I think of her. She grew so many flowers, everything she and my grandpa touched grew like magic. Me on the other hand... I can grow them... some of them... but not nearly as magically.

As I drew these out I couldn't help but remember them. I miss them so much!

I hope you enjoy the card I've made.. my Grandparents are the inspirations :)

The image has of course been added to my shop. The link is in the right side bar. I hope you all have a wonderful day!

Here are a few pics I took this afternoon with my daughter.. I'm trying hard to get her into photography.

Just to share a little bit of that spring love with you!

I have also had an on going project today. A friend of mine asked for some Calla Lillies to color. She is stuck home with a broken arm. So hopefully they might cheer her up a bit!
